As of September 30, 2021, the City terminated its service agreement with Rock Solid Technologies (fka CitySourced, Inc.), the host vendor for Cape Connect, a mobile application developed for the public to report problems or concerning observations around the community; and shifted oversight of the process to the Cultural + Community Affairs Department.

The public facing online Report a Concern process will remain quite similar:

  • Those wishing to file a report will visit the City’s website at www.cityofcapecanaveral.org/rac.
  • From there, residents filing a report pertaining to a location with a formal address will be directed to the appropriate online module in BS&A, the City's existing permitting and financial software program.
  • Alternatively, those filing reports for locations without a formal address will do so via an email submission link available on that page.
Going forward, inquires about the Report a Concern process may be directed to the Culture + Community Affairs Department.
